Lisa Louise Cooke Headlines Our 2026 Fall Seminar

We're thrilled to announce that Lisa Louise Cooke will be the featured speaker at the SAGHS Fall Seminar on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Coker Methodist Church's Life Fellowship Center. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m.

Lisa produces and hosts the Genealogy Gems Podcast and the Genealogy Gems YouTube channel, which has more than 35,000 subscribers. She is the author of five books, including The Genealogist's Google Toolbox, 3rd edition, and has written over 50 columns for Family Tree Magazine. She also offers a Premium Membership at lisalouisecooke.com featuring exclusive on-demand genealogy education.

Registration

Tickets are $70 for members and $85 for non-members. Each ticket includes lunch.

You can register two ways:

All registrations must be received by October 10, 2026.

For each individual ticket, we need:

  1. The ticket holder's name
  2. Whether they are a member of SAGHS or not
  3. Their sandwich choice:
    • Roast Beef Sandwich (multigrain wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, chips, pickle, chocolate chip cookie)
    • Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich (multigrain wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, chips, pickle, chocolate chip cookie)
    • Vegan Very Veggie Sandwich (spinach, guacamole, hummus, tomato, red onion, cucumber, on an everything bun; fruit cup and chips)

You'll receive a name tag at check-in. We'll have snacks and refreshments available, and seating is open. Each attendee gets a program with an agenda and space for notes. Silent auction tickets will be available for door prizes and auction baskets, and lunch will be served during the lunch break.
