All gifts can be used for a special project, or a named room in our buildings, we thank you for your generosity and can designate your funds for general items at the request of the President, or designated funds that can only be used in certain ways.
We are beginning to be recognized by donors who with to leave us a Legacy Gift. That is a gift that is shared through the will of the idividual who designates funds to the Society after they pass away. It is a lovely way to figure out ahead of time how you would like to be honored.
Donors may give their generous gifts at one time, or they may choose to pay their gift out over several months or at the time of their passing. There are also opportunities to support our fabulous library by purchasing books from the booklist. Another idea would be to donate funds to our much needed security system and phone system as well. It is quite difficult to share one phone number and internet service with 2 buildings. Another though would be to purchase a computer for $598, or a printer for $322. We are in need of serious upgrades to our systems and it is critical that we are able to get these issues funded so that our buildings and furniture/fixtures are in good shape and working properly. Your donations are the building blocks for our Society. Every single dollar counts, so please think and pray about these exciting projects that will really make us a phonemenal Genealogy Library and Research Center.
