Picture Wall

SAGHS picture wall logo

At SAGHS we have a Picture Wall and scrapbook collection dedicated to our members’ brave and wonderful ancestors. It’s an opportunity to see these strong, resilient people as they lived, to remember the hardships they must have faced, and the sacrifices they made along the way.

In return for a $50 donation, Jim Earl, a society volunteer, reproduces, frames, and hangs members’ family photographs on the wall of the library. In addition, he compiles a family history for inclusion in the Picture Wall scrapbook. View the index. Both the wall and the scrapbook are part of our permanent collection and viewable during library hours.

Donations to the Picture Wall project make it possible to improve our historic facilities. If you would like to make a donation, please email askus@txsaghs.org.
